Throughout this tour, we will visit famous and scenic cherry viewing sites, Takayama and Ina.
You may see beautiful contrast between cherry and erablate floats in Takayama. View of cherry, architecture, mountains at the former site of Takato Castle is breathtaking (This is designated as one of the three famous cherry viewing sites in Japan).

You will aslo see Tokyo Sky Tree built with highly technology and traditional thatched roof houses in mountainous region.

KANSAI-OSAKA

Welcome to Osaka! You will be greeted by an English-speaking assistant at the airport. The assistant will get you in the bus to your hotel.

Todaiji

OSAKA - NARA - KYOTO

From the top of the Osaka castle, enjoy panoramic view of the city of Osaka (2nd largest city in Japan) as if you were feudal load.
Osaka is said, "City of food".

After meeting with the biggest Buddha statue in the world at Todaiji (temple), let's enjoy tasting a sip of Sake at Gekkeikan Sake Brewery in southern Kyoto. You may understand why Kyoto is blessed with and said as "the source of Japanese taradition & culture" like sake, tofu, kimono, tea ceremony etc. due to tremendous amont of underground water.

As soon as we arrive Kyoto, we will visit Gion where Geisha (kimono clad ladies who work for entertainment at traditional Japanese cuisine restaurants etc.).

Kyoto Tokyu Hotel

It is located right next to Nishi Honganji (temple, World Heritage).
It is good idea to take walk to Nishi Honganji to see peace morning atmosphere (no entrance fee).

Day3
Kinkakuji

KYOTO

Please enjoy your stay in ancient capital of Japan (794 - 1868).

Green Tea Ceremony at Kodaiji (temple) will be unforgettable experience. After the ceremony, let's take short walk through beautiful garden and bamboo trail.

At Nishijinori Kaikan, ladies wearing kimonos show you beautiful seasonal design and patterns of kimonos and sashes.

Kinkakuji (temple) or Golden Pavillion with beautiful garden and pond take you back to the Muromachi Period (1333 - 1537) when Kyoto flourished in its ecomony and culture.

Day4
Takayama

KYOTO - GUJOHACHIMAN - SHIRAKAWAGO - TAKAYAMA

We will depart from Kyoto and drive to Gujohachiman to see water flows that running throughout the town. People in Gujohachiman live with and cherish water in their daily lives.

Then, we will move to Shirakawago to see traditional thatched roof houses that are designated as World Heritage of UNESCO.
Village and town among mountains may reminds you of nostargic feeling.

We will stay in Takayama.
On this day, "Takayama Festival" will be held and you will see beautiful and eraborate floats. The floats are lit-up by light of paper lantern. Feature in the night is so beautiful and tasteful.

Takayama

TAKAYAMA - MATSUMOTO - SUWA

In the morning, we will see procession of floats in Takayama.
Erabolate carving work and KARAKURI trick (moving dolls) are amazing. Please see craftmanship of artisans who contribute to build the floats.

After seeing the festival, we will move to Matsumoto to visit Matsumoto Castle (National Treasure).

Dinner at traditional Japanese house and staying at Ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) in Suwa will be unforgettable experience. As one of special feature of the tour, we prepare the rooms with onsen (hotspring) in each private room. Please enjoy and feel relaxed!

Saginoyu

Ina, Takato

SUWA - INA - MT. FUJI - ODAWARA - TOKYO

Our trip on this day start from cherry viewing!
We will visit the former site of Takato Castle that is designated as one of the three famous cherry viewing sites in Japan.
Please enjoy beautiful contrast between cherry and castle, mountains.

The sightseeing continues to Mt. Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan and is considered as sacred mountain.

On the way to our final destination Tokyo, please enjoy riding on Shinkansen (bullet train) from Odawara to Tokyo.

Sensoji, Asakusa

TOKYO

If you hear "Tokyo", you may imagine huge metropolis with skylines.

On this day, we will visit histrical sites such as Sensoji Temple (Asakusa) and Imperial Palace. Of course, we will visit newly built tower with high technology Tokyo Sky Tree (about 1,900ft) to go up to the viewing deck to see panoramic view of metropolis Tokyo.

Workshop of paper lantern (or folding fan) is fun experience! Let's enjoy drawing your favorite meaning in Kanji (Chinese character). Drawing your or your family's and friend's names sounds good idea! The work you make will reminds you of the tour and it will be good souvenir.

Koyasan Koyasan Koyasan


Koyasan is located 1,000m (about 3,000ft) above sea level among mountainous and forest area. It takes about 2 and half hours by train from Osaka.
There are 117 temples here in Koyasan. The place was founded by famous priest Kukai in 819. Since then, his spirit and Koyasan is considered as sacred places among feudal loads in ancient times and today's company founders such as Panasonic, Kirin Beer Brewery and so on.
Especially, when you walk under lineuped tall cedar trees, you may feel the place is so sacred and spiritual.
