Welcome to Tokyo! You will be greeted by an English-speaking assistant at the airport. The assistant will get you in the bus to your hotel.

Day2
Akihabara

TOKYO
First stop today, Imperial palaceJapan boasts of the beautiful cherry flower in spring.
Then to Akihabara, the electronic district and the mecca for the anime (Japanese cartoon characters). Akihabara has emerged as a center of Japanese otaku and anime culture, and dozens of stores specializing in anime, manga, retro video games, figurines, card games and other collectibles have filled the spaces between the electronics retailers.
After lunch,we visit Asakusa and walking with Sumo Wresler.Sensoji Temple, the Five Storied Pagoda and the traditional Nakamise shopping arcade.
We go to Sakura Festival in Ueno park at night. You may watch cherry blossoms in full bloom.Viewing cherry blossoms at night is called 'yozakura o miru' or 'yozakura kenbutsu,' and it is Japanese unique custom.

Day3
Mt.Fuji 5th Station

TOKYO-MT.FUJI-YATSUGATAKE
This is the day when we visit the highest peak in Japan, which has just become No.17 World Heritage Site in Japan. It is has been appreciated by many Japanese for ages because of its perfect conical shape. Weather permitting, we will go as high as the 5th step by bus to have a great view from above.
Then, we also go to Oshino-Hakkai. It is a natural monument "Oshino Hakkai" is a spring water pond that emits water source to Fuji of subsoil water.Please enjoy mysterious spring water pond.
We then head out to Yatsugatake.If the sky is clear,let's look up at the sky.You may see star-filled night sky...

Onbashira Festival

YATSUGATAKE-SUWA-MATSUMOTO
We go to Suwa to see Onbashira festival.
Onbashira (御柱) is a festival held every six years in the Lake Suwa area of Nagano, Japan. The purpose of the festival is to symbolically renew the Suwa Taisha or Suwa Grand Shrine. "Onbashira" can be literally translated as "the honored pillars".
The Onbashira festival is reputed to have continued, uninterrupted, for 1200 years. The festival is held once every six years, in the years of the Monkey and the Tiger in the Chinese zodiac, however the locals may say "once in seven years," because of the traditional Japanese custom of including the current year when counting a length of time.
Then we visit Japanese home to eat lunch where you will have a glimpse of the real japanese life style.They serve Japanese home cuisine in a casual, family-oriented atmosphere.
After the bus ride, we visit wasabi farm.When Japanese eat sushi and soba, we eat with wasabi as an accent well. Please try fresh wasabi.

Day5
Kyoto sightseeing

MATSUMOTO-TAKAYAMA-HIDA FURUKAWA
This castel is one of the very few original castel that were kept intact and never destroyed. Also it's unipue black coloring gave its nickname karasu-jo, the Crow Castel. It's one of three must see castel in Japan and ranked on the top 100 in the world castel. We will continue to drive for Takayama. We will drive through mountainous area,Japan Alps. You will see beautiful and magnificent spectacles. Takayama, or as some people call it “little Kyoto,” has many areas where homes and shops are more than 300 years old and well preserved.We stay in Hida Furukawa and have Japanese style dinner at the hotel.
Enjoy hot spring and special dinner... Sleeping on Futon too..

Day6
Himeji castle

TAKAYAMA-SHIRAKAWAGO-OUMI
In the morning we visit Shirakawago to see traditional thatched roof houses that are designated as World Heritage of UNESCO. Village and town among mountains may reminds you of nostargic feeling.
Then, we will drive to Oumi .Around the former castle town of Hachimanyama Castle constructed by Toyotomi Hidetsugu, nephew of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, there are temples and shrines such as Himure Hachimangu Shrine, Hachiman moat, houses of Omi merchants, and the Kawara Museum that visitors can explore. These are also known as film locations.
Please enjoy water channel tour.A beautiful tour cruising Lake Nishinoko, which is connected to Lake Biwa, in a Japanese-style boat. Passengers can enjoy views along the water channel like a maze surrounded by reeds.

Izumotaisha

OUMI-NARA-KYOTO
Visiting the ancient capital of Japan is a must in your tour. First we visit Chuguji-temple that was founded as a nunnery in the 7th century by Shotoku Taishi.Located immediately to the northeast of Horyuji-temple.The camphor wood statue of Miroku is a National Treasure dating from the Asuka period.
You will be greeted with cute deer vowing to you around Todaiji temple at Nara. You will feel sacred when looking up the huge Buddha statue made in 8th century.
Then we visit Fushimi inari shrine, famous for its thousands of red torii gates. It is known best place of the Japanese sightseeing spot that the foreigner chooses.
In the evening you will be taken to Gion “Geisha district” Those who have seen “Memoirs of Geisha” will be fascinated by its shooting spots. We stay in Kyoto for the night.

It is good idea to take walk to Nishi Honganji to see peace morning atmosphere (no entrance fee).

Day8
Kinkakuji Temple

KYOTO-OSAKA
Please enjoy your stay in ancient capital of Japan (794 - 1868).
Green Tea Ceremony will be unforgettable experience.
At Nishijinori Kaikan, ladies wearing kimonos show you beautiful seasonal design and patterns of kimonos and sashes.
Kinkakuji (temple) or Golden Pavillion with beautiful garden and pond take you back to the Muromachi Period (1333 - 1537) when Kyoto flourished in its ecomony and culture.
Next we go to Kiyomizu Temple.The dates back to 798, and its present buildings were constructed in 1633, during a restoration ordered by the Tokugawa Iemitsu. Not one nail is used in the whole temple.
We also visit Heian Shrine which is the famous place of the cherry tree in the afternoon.
After kyoto we move to our final destination Osaka. Osaka is said, "City of food". Let's take short walk through Dotonbori street to see local food and people's night life.
