Kagoshima
Kagoshima Prefecture is a prefecture of Japan located on Kyushu Island. The capital is the city of Kagoshima.
Area is 3526 sq mi. The population is 1,639,900 .
Kagoshima Prefecture is located southernmost prefecture on the Satsuma Peninsula and Osumi Peninsulas. This prefecture also includes a chain of islands stretching further to the southwest of Kyushu for a few hundred kilometers. The most important group is the Amami Islands.
There are many volcanoes including Sakurajima, which towers opposite side of Kagoshima city.
Mount Shiro-yama , the height is 107m,is a mountain located in Kagoshima city. From there you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city and bay of Kinkou
