That was the springboard for the lavender fields in Furano to become known nationwide. A purple carpet of lavenders spreads over the slope. Walking the slope to the top of the field brings you views of great splendor. Beyond the lavender flowers swaying in wind are the rural landscapes of the Furano valley and the Tokachi Mountains.
Then, we will head to the Furano Wine Factory, One reason that Furano City embarked upon its project to cultivate wine grapes is that research found Furano’s climate and soil conditions to be strikingly similar to grape-growing regions of Northern Europe. You can taste the Furano wine while enjoying the view of the Tokachi mountain range in the factory.
Next,it's is the same in Furano, we visit the Furano Cheese Factory. You can observe a production room and the cheese maturing chamber over glass in the natural rich cheese studio among white birches. And please don’t leave without getting their popular fresh Hokkaido ice cream !!
