Ibaraki Prefecture is located in the Kanto region. The capital city is Mito.
Ibaraki is known for nattō, or fermented soybeans, in Mito Kairakuen, one of Japan's three most celebrated gardens, and famous for its over 3,000 Japanese plum trees of over 100 varieties.
Lake-Kasumigaura is the second-largest lake in Japan, is used for fishing, irrigation, tourism, recreation, and for consumption by the surrounding public and local industry.
One of the agricultural area, products many kinds of vegetables,fruits. And farming beef,pork,chicken. Also marine products industry is well-known.
